2008 Election Cycle
With the November election rapidly approaching, the eyes of the major political
parties are looking franticly for an edge.
With this election creating a deep divide, crossing party lines, there are
no sure deals or bets. No state can be taken for granted.
In California, the number of registered Decline to State voters now represents
22% of those registered. With Republican registration at 34%, the D/S is becoming
a force to be reckoned with and much sought after.
In Los Angeles County the number of D/S has reached 800,000. Dissatisfied or
disenfranchised Democrats and Republicans are taking action. They are not dropping
out of the process as are many non voters who maintain their original and traditional
party affiliation.
No, D/S are engaged and sending a message loud and clear. If you want my vote
you will have to earn it!
While some may believe the Presidential race is a foregone conclusion as far
as California, there will be numerous Ballot Measures impacting the County
of Los Angeles.
Multi billion dollar Bond Measures for LAUSD and the Community College, Gang
Taxes, MTA Bonds, etc, etc..
In addition to the money issues, there will be several countywide non partisan
races, such as Superior Court Judge and County Supervisor.
Decline to State Voter will begin our 2008 Election Campaign to bring you the
information you will need to make that informed decision on Election Day.
Thank You,
David Hernandez
